edunny > Jubilee Jobs, one of the ministries of the Church of the Savior, helps approximately 70 people through a job readiness program each week, teaching interviewing and resume skills as well as assistance with job placement.

edunny > Nicola is a resident of Christ House, one of the ministries of the Church of the Savior. In his 15 months as a resident of Christ House, Nicola has received multiple knee surgeries and is beginning the physical therapy that will allow him to walk again.

edunny > Christ House provides temporary residence for those who are homeless and sick, providing medical and social services. Christ House opened its doors on Christmas Eve, 1985.

edunny > Sam came to Washington DC in 1965 for a job interview. After finding the Potter's House Coffeehouse for a bite to eat, he has been involved with the Church of the Savior ever since. He is pictured here at the Sitar Center, where he provides assistance to the children in its programs.

edunny > The Sitar Center began in 1998 when founder Rhonda Buckley realized that there were few options available to lower income children for educational programs in the arts.

edunny > Joseph's House provides care and support to formerly homeless men and women with terminal illnesses. On Halloween a festive atmosphere was present, in the midst of the suffering. The woman in the background was dressed up for Halloween, visited by both her mother and her teenage daughter.
